The natural world
I’m in the Master Gardener class thinking about how amazing the natural world is. We know so much about the human experience and so little about the rest of the world we live in. I wish this class had been mandatory in high school instead of math. It seems more relevant. Heard a guy on the radio yesterday talking about how high school should be more like college. I couldn’t agree more.
The Hardest Year Ever
When thinking about twenty twelve, this New Year’s Eve I happened to say out loud this is going to be the hardest year ever. At the time I was being contrary for the sake of my sanity. There was a wash of good news and best year ever from people all day long and I had all I could stand. Little did I know how close to the mark I was.
Twenty twelve is shaping up to be the year I do my damnedest to try and get right with the world. I have been floating for long enough it’s time to start swimming for shore. To play off the previous metaphor a bit longer I really had no idea how far away from the shore I had drifted and twenty twelve may indeed be the hardest year of my life. Cheers!
